Alcohol & Sex

When planning your graduation or prom night, think about how alcohol and drugs can influence the sexual choices you make. 

Taking drugs and alcohol effects the way you make decisions… 

• You may make decisions about sex that you regret later.
• You may not use a condom and put yourself at risk for getting a sexually transmitted disease or having an unplanned pregnancy.
• You may not recognize an unsafe situation.
• You could be sexually assaulted.

To reduce your risk for getting a sexually transmitted disease and/or having an unplanned pregnancy, plan ahead, and make a safe choice to drink less, slow down or take the night off from drinking.
