More Great Fundraising Ideas

Sell Popcorn

Extremely cheap! Guaranteed almost 100% profit!

Grad Get Ups
Look at any 1950’s movie and you’ll see that everyone is wearing school jackets to golf shirts to boxers. Good creative professional looking clothing can go a long way. You can make a reasonble profit as long as you get cash commitments before ordering.

Coffee House
A great idea at any time. Explore the beat theme and stage a coffee house evening with appropriate music to raise funds for the grad.

Pizza Lunch
Organizing delivery and keeping it hot is a challenge, but we know you can do it. Students love their pizza!

Subs
Similar to the pizza idea, but subs must be kept cold.

Car Wash
Preferably warm days. Have big smiles on, good location with lots of traffic.

The Garage Sale
Use your field or parking lot as a weekend garage sale. Get teachers, parents, and students to donate items. People can’t resist junk. Exploit that sick impulse.

Coupon Booklets
These preprinted booklets are created by promoters for local businesses. If you sell them for anywhere from $3 to $10 coupons booklets can make a tidy profit. If each graduate sells only one booklet, you can raise a lot of money.

Grad Bonus Bucks

The grad is a huge undertaking that will cost thousands of dollars. With so few students helping out with fundraising, tickets end up costing a fortune. Grad bucks can help get these costs down. For every contribution or money raised, grads receive grad bucks. For example, you raise $5 and earn one grad buck.  The grad committee determines in advance what products grad bucks can buy. (Most students use grad bucks to lower the cost of their prom tickets.)

Be careful with the grad bucks. With the right kind of participation, grad bucks can be a winner for both grad committee and grads. Just be careful how many grad bucks you allocate to dollars raised. You don't want to lose more money than you make.

The Grad Ballot Alternative

A grad ballot is a ticket in a draw or maybe several draws. These draws are held throughout the year for some cool grad items such as free corsages or even a free limo! (You'll need to approach a company and ask for free goods or services in exchange for advertising.)

A Fashion Show!

Although a big undertaking, a fashion show can be a great fundraiser that involves the whole school, not to mention a lot of fun!  Click here for more information and tips on fashion shows!

Whatever your fundraising strategies and projects - be enthusiastic, and stay focused and positive!

More money raised means a better grad that everyone will remember and appreciate you for!
